I maintain an inventory of developmentally appropriate, engaging and interesting educational books, toys and other materials for children to enjoy during free and group play times while at Lucky Duck Childcare. Some items or equipment may be reserved for occasional use and/or rotated in play areas in order to stimulate the children’s developing interests, imagination and creativity.

It is expected that parents will send their child dressed appropriately for the weather, and provide a seasonally appropriate back up outfit for their supply bin in case of accidents. For all Michigan seasons, it is highly recommended that your child dress in layers to be removed or added as their individual body temperatures dictate for both indoor and out of door play. Boots or yard shoes and seasonally appropriate outerwear is required daily.

An ample supply of the following items must be labeled with child ’s name and be provided solely by parent(s) at the start of each care day/week: diapers/pull-ups, moisture barriers, pacifier, bottle & nipple, emergency or daily maintenance medication(s) considered based on individual circumstances with doctor note and proper forms. Inventory report will be texted to parents Thursdays for items needed the following week.
