I am dedicated to providing a safe, accepting, tolerant and inviting atmosphere that allows children to develop at their own pace. I believe that children need to have a positive self-image. I foster that image, along with their developmental growth in the areas of intellectual, social, physical, and emotional skills through a variety of gently paced group activities, child-led play, and quiet periods.
All play is for all children; there will be no gender roles encouraged, nor discouraged by the care provider.
Striving to promote social and emotional skills necessary for school readiness, this program makes use of many play and learning materials that help children gain confidence and have fun during child-led play days in the cooperative community they’ve created. Many group activities offer a focus on music and movement awareness.
I strive to be informed of State requirements for licensed care providers and to consistently offer care services that are in compliance and harmony with those rules and regulations. It is also my goal to meet or exceed recommendations for supporting public health.
